Which ticket is actually cheapest for your trip?
There is no honest answer to this without your own journeys, because German fares move with demand. Look up your trips on bahn.de, type in the fares you are quoted, and this page prices the alternatives against them. Nothing here is estimated on your behalf.

Read this before deciding
- Cheapest is not always best. A pass lets you change plans and board any train; a Super Sparpreis ticket binds you to one departure.
- Seat reservations are extra with every option, and are worth it on Friday and Sunday ICE trains.
- BahnCard maths here assumes the standard 25% card at its published price and that your quoted fares are discountable.
